Fashion Friday | Spring Dress Trends

Since Easter is this coming Sunday, I thought I’d dive into the most stylish spring dresses that are still church appropriate, since wearing your Free People Heritage Playsuit would not be exactly kosher this Sunday. So, I’ve lined up for you the top 5 fab looks for your Easter!

5 Spring Dress Trends for Easter

1. Shirtdresses. Let’s face it, it’s back, and it’s awesome. Any dress with a pocket is my favorite dress!

2. Interesting details. While a dress is a dress is a dress, Marc by Marc Jacobs (RIP. Respect.) likes to keep things interesting with suspenders for straps on this olive green halter dress (with pockets)!

3. Shift dresses. While these aren’t new, there is a definite ’70’s color blocking going on this spring, and I LOVE it, because, well… I loved most of what the ’70’s gave to us. (although you can keep your avocado polyester suits.) Check out this nautical number from Topshop. I’m in love!!!

4. Yellow dresses. You may think, “I don’t look good in yellow.” But you may just be surprised! I actually look pretty good in a bright lemon yellow, although, I never thought I would! Just go bold or go home! Besides, this Tory Burch Mariana dress is TO DIE FOR!!!

5. Gingham. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. The runway for Spring was like a summer picnic table cloth. With bias cuts, and asymmetrical necklines, lol! It’s like Anne of Green Gables meets Carrie Bradshaw. Check out this dress from Sportsmax. Yummy!
